My name is Lamirra Jacobs. I attend Mergenthaler Vocational Tech High School and I will be a senior this coming school year. I am 16 years old. My favorite color is pink. I run cross country but I would like to start cheerleading or wrestling this year. I also volunteer at my church at the food pantry giving food to the homeless or people that are in need. I am also very creative and unique. I sometimes design my own clothes or spice my outfits up to make them look unique. I spice my outfits up by adding clothing materials that haven’t been used and create patches on some of my jeans that are distressed using extra materials that aren’t in use. I also recycle clothing that is too small for me or too short and make it into something that can fit. Working with Fight Blight Bmore helped me gain a lot. I learned that the main reason for blighted areas is because when people get incarcerated there is nothing they can do with their homes but get boarded up or misused. I also learned how to put in a 311 report on the app I never knew I could do that. Last but not least I learned how to do a test case on the fight blight app.
